Hiroshi is a flirt and lover, and is also very concious about is looks. He is well liked by the female portion of the student body, and is rarely seen without a heard of fangirls at his side. He comes off as a bit of a nere-do-well and a playboy as well as a drama queen. But he is also a perfectionist. He beleives if he's going to do something, he's going to do it all the way. All the world is his stage, and Wakato is enamored by the spot light. This him quite a showman and one should always expect Wakato to go all out in everything he does.
Hiroshi has the ability to copy any technique he sees, giving him the nickname "The Pretender". His style of the pretender allows him to exactly copy techniques and even more subtle things, like grip changes or even facial expressions of his opponants, and even famous players like Pete Sampras, just by watching them play. However, it does not come to him suddenly, it takes tiome and patience and mountains of secret practices to get every last little detail about a player down. On his off time, one can usually find Wakato watching his little hand held tv screen. To play Wakato is to play every great tennis player (male and female) that has ever had a match on TV all rolled into one ginger haired package.
